About The Event
We have reserved a site at Colorado Bend State Park for our Spring camping trip from April 23-25. Families are welcome to join us beginning Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon or join for the day on Saturday. The weekend will include a Saturday afternoon hike near Gorman Falls and a campfire in the evening. Families are welcome to join in the provided Pack wide meal of hamburgers and hot dogs Saturday evening. The site is near the Colorado River which also provides scouts a chance to fish.
The camping fee which includes the site registration fee and meal is $10/camper for the weekend. It can be paid via PayPal at http://paypal.me/pack49Austin. When arriving at the camp gate, please mention you are part of the "Pack 49 group reservation" and pay the entrance fee of $5/adult (>13 y.o.).
Currently per TPWD, the camping area is limited to 37 campers. We will use a first come first serve approach. Please be sure to also submit the camping fee after registering.
