Here's some of the questions you might have when starting
When do we meet?
Each den (grade) meets every 2 weeks for about an hour. Pack meetings are once a month at 6:30pm at the Lutheran Church on Morrow.
How much does it cost to register?
The Scouting fee is $85 per school year. and pack dues are $40 year.
How much time outside of meetings is needed?
For K-4th grade, there’s no time requirement outside of meetings.
Do I need a uniform?
Kids don’t need a uniform to start; parents never need one unless you become a leader. The uniform and its cost vary by program for both youth and adults. Uniforms may also be purchased at your local Scout shop. See www.scoutshop.org for details and current prices. Note: You can sometimes find these for sale on Facebook and free groups.
Scouting Books
Each den has its own scout guidebook. You can find info and order these online, but the folks at the local Scout Store are fantastic and can guide you to whatever you need.
Events
In addition to den and pack meetings, we have some super exciting events every year!
