Arrow of Light Ceremony
Thursday February 21 at 6:30pm at the Faith Lutheran Church Gym, Pack 49 will hold the Arrow of Light ceremony. In addition to the ceremony, we'll hold a Pack meeting with announcements and have scouts receive advancement awards. Also, those who earned prizes for selling popcorn will receive their prizes.
Friends of Scouting
The Capitol Area Council supports our local scouting by providing adult training programs, scout programs such as Cub Scout Camp Day, community outreach and 7 scout camps across the region. To help increase awareness and raise money for their goals, the council is holding a luncheon Wednesday, March 6 2019 from 11:50am - 1pm at the JW Marriott downtown with guest speaker Michael Fossum, a former astronaut. Please contact John Riddle if you are interested in learning more about the council’s impact in the community and making a donation.
Volunteering!
Pack 49 has several volunteer opportunities for leadership positions on the committee. Each position typically has a two year tenure and we are looking for parents who are interested in getting involved in helping lead or volunteer with the Pack.
